My Teaching Experience

I have Senior Instructor membership of The Tai Chi Union of Great Britain and I am a qualified educator [7407.1 Level 4 Teaching Certificate]. I have a wealth of experience teaching groups in a range of settings (from schools to corporations) and abilities (from those with disabilities to trained athletes).

I am involved with groups that further the art of T’ai-Chi Ch’uan through skill sharing, such as 'The Movable Feast' and 'The Free Association'. I have worked with the elderly at the Chinese Community Centre in Soho, London as well as with children at Primrose Hill School.

I am also the facilitator of Pushing Hands UK - a space for people to meet, study and practise T'ai Chi partner work. The event is held annually on the August bank holiday.

  •  I began teaching within & under the auspices of the British Tai Chi Chuan Association

  • I had continuous experience with Adult Education Services from 1982 to 2006 and I taught at The Oasis Sports Centre in Shaftesbury Av for 27 years until 2017

  • I have hired halls & conducted group classes in the private arena since the 80's

  • I have taught many individuals one to one

  • I have been a guest instructor for schools in London, Ipswich, Brighton, Bristol, Devon, Wales, Los Angeles

  • I was selected for the 2015, 2016 and 2018 to teach at a well-established Tai Chi event in France, Rencontres Jasnières Read more>>
