How to join
The weekly classes in Cambridge.*
Most of the time I try to keep the classes open to new students.
Sometimes we run courses that require that you start at the beginning
You are welcome to come and have 'a taster' but please email me before hand. If you chose to join then that class will be incorporated into your payment.
Joining Tai Chi;
The Tai Chi mini form is taught in five sections which rotate week by week. You can join in any week or you can choose to join at the beginning of a cycle.
Joining mid cycle is quite do-able and not a problem although starting 'from the top' is obviously nice.
Joining Chi Kung;
The Chi Kung class is usually flexible and you can generally join at any time.
Joining Hsing I;
The Hsing I works in five week cycles where one of the five basic forms is taught over five weeks and then a different one in the next five week cycle.
I Generally advise that you start in one of the first three cycles - Pi, Tsuan, Beng. Joining in the last two - Pao & Heng, make for a difficult start.
Clearly starting 'from the top' is nicest but not everyone can time it.
Fees for the weekly Cambridge classes;
there are 5 week & 10 week plans.
10 week plans are better value than 5 week plans.
Booking for more subjects also attract a discount.
Ten week terms are between fixed dates. The next 10 week term starts 14th October 2021.
The online Zoom sessions;*
These run in 10 week blocks but are joinable at any time.
The London weekends;*
Usually charged per session, sometimes discounts for year long courses paid in advance.
*Generally we do not run drop-in arrangements.
